Transport Training ⛟

Whether you’re taking your first step into truck driving or adding another licence category to advance your career, Doyle Driver Training will help you build the skills and confidence to move forward.

Our family business has been helping learners achieve their goals since 1993. We take real pride in every pupil’s progress, from their first lesson to the day they pass their test.

Learn with RSA-approved driving instructors who explain things clearly and offer practical, patient guidance. We want every lesson to feel positive, productive and rewarding.

Feeling nervous or apprehensive? That’s perfectly normal. We’ll help you settle in, work at a pace that suits you and build your confidence step by step.

Our aim goes beyond helping you pass. We teach safe habits, sound judgement and practical vehicle-handling skills you can carry into your driving career.

Ready to get behind the wheel of a rigid truck? Our Category C lessons in Waterford provide structured, practical training in our automatic Volvo FL, fitted with dual controls.

We’ll help you develop your vehicle control, observation, road positioning and manoeuvring skills as you prepare for your test.

Take the next step with Category CE artic training in our Volvo FH I-Shift and 33-foot trailer.

Build confidence in handling an articulated combination, with guidance on coupling and uncoupling, reversing, turning and managing the trailer safely on the road.

Our vehicles are fully insured for driving tuition and tests. Lessons include local roads and areas used for driving tests in Waterford, helping you gain experience in the conditions you’ll encounter.

Not sure where to begin? Our getting-started guide explains the steps towards your Category C learner permit, including the theory test and medical requirements.
